In contrast to the most common definitions of "High Potentials", the HIGH POTENTIAL NETWORK does not use empirical-analytical calculations, as this approach does not work out when pursuing an international approach due to country-specific differences.
In addition, we are not strictly demanding that this potential already has to be totally developed to classify young people in this category because it is also one of the HIGH POTENTIAL NETWORK's goals to support members in order to develop their full potential.Usually, our members come from pre-selected channels like national or international competitions, projects and similar events.
This ensures a high level of self-motivation and a strong desire for challenge and success.
Due to the international approach of the HIGH POTENTIAL NETWORK, the selection process also focuses on individual aspects of every member, deriving from different cultures, education systems and personal backgrounds.The following aspects are particularly considered in the selection process:
- achievements at school, university
- non-formal education
- extra-curricular activities
- international and national experience
- additional qualifications
