I am Ani from Armenia. Currently I am studying Agribusiness & Marketing at the Agribusiness Teaching Center, which is a cooperative project between Texas A&M University and Armenian Agricultural Academy. Apart from that essential condition of absorbing knowledge I also work at the Public Relations & Events Department of the Cafesjian Museum Foundation. www.cmf.am . Besides that I am also engaged in a very challenging project: I conduct the promotion of the famous US-based rock group named System Of A Down here in Armenia. I have participated in an international conference on Entrepreneurship organized by Junior Achievement International, Marmon Group Global Trade Institute and Illinois Institute of Technology in June of 2002. I spend my rare free hours, which unfortunately happen to be so limited, by reading literature, listening to music and definitely traveling. I enormously like making speeches. I must confess that I am desperately obsessed with football; moreover I am a huge fan of Real Madrid- Team of Legends, so I dont ever miss my chance of admiring them in the field! I possess a steady character, and always search for some new ways to make the life more interesting and meaningful. I am a goal-oriented individual and strive to look at the world with optimistic eyes. I always try to help those who need my help or advice. I put much emphasize on the individual features that define the character of a person.
Frankly, I am honoured and simultaneously excited to be a member of the High Potential Network, a global network composed of many young and goal-oriented individuals. I fully realize that it will require many endeavors, but I am convinced that it is a necessity for me and I will have enough power and energy to manage it! Armenia is a developing country and needs the intervention of an external pushing power to prosper and grow. It is currently in the process of integrating to the world. Hence, I am convinced that somehow this network will foster that integration process and enable the Armenian youth to become an active element of globalization. In this sense the HPN serves as a connecting bridge between people from different corners of the world.
I would like to recall the well-known words of A. Toffler The world is a global village. I think that each person plays a crucial role in this world. In order to realize that role successfully he/she at first must recognize himself/herself. Only then that person will be able to face the reality and have his/her contribution in the further development of humans. I am convinced that we all acting together will make this world a better place to live!
