DUBAI NEWS
Two members of HPN Dubai were invited to join one of the biggest events in 2004 in Dubai.

Tiger Woods - 149882.3

HPN member Kristin and Vice Chairman Isabell Claus spent 2 days on the green following the best players in the world and meeting their spouses in the Emirates Golf Club Clubhouse.

With Tiger Woods and Ernie Els in the field, in terms of Official Golf World Ranking Points this year’s Dubai Desert Classic is the biggest tournament staged outside of the USA so far in 2004. With 46 World Ranking points available to the winner, the Dubai Aluminium-sponsored tournament guaranteed the interest of the game’s best players. It also secured the attention of the biggest media turnout in its 15-year history.

American veteran Mark O’Meara ended six long years in the PGA European Tour wilderness by winning the 2004 Dubai Desert Classic by one shot from Ireland’s Paul McGinley at the Emirates Golf Club.
The prize money for this years challenge was US$ 2 million.
Congratulations to the winner and thank you to a special friend for the pleasure of being a guest at Emirates Golf Club.
